[News] The Fall of Trubo Saius

Queen Dawn summoned citizens to the royal palace, where it was revealed that the location of the mercenary base camp had been uncovered in Ilshenar.

Those gathered were told to meet Captain Jenkins outside the Sacrifice Shrine in Ilshenar.

Captain Jenkins shared that the mercenaries had settled into a nearby farm and that if a rescue of the map fragment was to be attempted, it would have to be now! He cautioned those gathered not to descend too quickly but rather to approach with caution and take out the scouts first before attempting to assault the leadership.

When the camp was found, the mercenaries wasted no time in retaliating! After the scouts had been dispatched, the mercenary generals came into the melee.

But that wasn't all! It seemed that the theories that Trubo Saius had been kidnapped were false... the controversial figure stood side by side with the mercenary generals and issued commands to troops. It would seem that Trubo had, in fact, been released from his prison to recruit his dark powers to imbue the struggling mercenary armies with unnatural strength. For certain, if there were any who had the power to turn a mercenary into an unstoppable demigod, Trubo would have been capable.

Trubo Saius, architect of villainy, source of the mercenaries' unnatural power, held the final map fragment. Rather than give it up willingly, he fought to possess it to his dying breath....

Trubo Saius has been slain! And with Britannia rid of this sorry, tormented creature, the final map fragment was retrieved and returned to the captain, who delivered it to Queen Dawn.

The map has been assembled... was this the destiny of the prophecy? Would Beh-Lem's visions be fulfilled?

The realm awaits word from Beh-Lem....

The news desk would like to apologize for the delay in posting this story. It would seem that one bard-mage was pawing through the forbidden tomes of Petrus the Scribe after a few too many Thayerales and, looking for a way to see the future without a map, accidentally uncovered an incantation which creates a window into the past... on parchment! This news article is the first known piece on Baja to incorporate this kind of scribing sorcery. Enjoy!
