In an Open Letter to Lady Fahnzjell the Widow, alleged Queen-Consort of Lord Cantabrigan British and Claimant to the Britannian Throne, Lady Cymidei Fier of Wind espoused that neither she nor her nefarious underlings have any intention of aligning themselves to any new regime now that Lord Casca is dead.

This comes as little suprise to the victorious rebellion, as the Dark Tower withdrew it's support of both Operation Royal Flush and Vasco's Scythian Delegation mere hours before the final battle of the Drakon War in Britain.

Below is the letter that was delivered to the Widow.

Dear Widow,

If the independent kingdoms united can wage war and achieve independence from an unfit ruler; then by right of arms we can continue self governance. What is a crown? A crown is only a symbol, that represents the fealty of the people. Let those who love you weave you a crown. Let those that will follow you, follow and through them rule.

Be warned, the Dark Tower and Scythe will not swear lasting fealty to anyone. We lay claim forever to the City and Mountains of Wind, Samlethe Wood and all we can defend with our forces.

The Dark Tower has fulfilled the objectives sworn at Scythe and our mutual enemy is dead. Therefore, we are released from any expectation of lawfulness, lenience or loyalty toward you or any people of Britannia, independent of the Crown or otherwise.

Cymidei Fier
Mistress of the Dark Tower

It is reported that along with the letter was delivered an artfully mummified finger, believed to have once belonged to Lord Casca the Pretender. Witnesses report seeing Lady Cymidei slice the finger from the fallen monarchs hand following his demise at the hands of Dame Lady Dawn.

I've made some changes to the above story. There was some confusion as to who Lady Fahnzjell was, and I wanted to make clear that she is the alleged Wife of Lord British, and is not the Queen of Britannia.
