We've found an issue with the salvage bag - we have a fix coming, but in the meantime, please don't use it to recycle stacks of leather! </p>

I posted this problem to the bugs forum just after the Salvage bag came out and they are just finding out about it.

Why would you be recycling stacks of leather to begin with? Aren't the stacks what you get as the result of recycling something?

Sorry, "recycling multiple leather items at once" would make substantially more sense...

I have had huge problems after recycling metal objects. Half of them just vanished without leaving resources and my char suddenly had a weight of over 600 stones even with an empty pack.
GM came and solved the problem but advised me to only use the bag with one object at a time which makes it more or less pointless.

So I think the bag has more than one problem.

I did not notice there was a patch this morning tbh, but it happened yesterday (CET here).
So if all I mentioned is solved, I am sorry I opened my mouth .

I also had that happen. but not this morning... Mine happened when I put a paragon chest in the salvage bag with all kinds of recyclable items. A few items recycled, but most didn't and the chest disappeared and I had over 6OO weight in my bag.

here's an idea ... just use the recycle agent in uoassist like usual because that one actually works and works well

i wouldn't trust anything to the salvage bag at this point ... ever

(unless some useful alternate method of using it became known ... hehe - jk)

When you hit salvage, the BOD disappears!! I am used to UOA which will recycle items one at a time in any bag I assign as the Recycle bag, and it ignores anything that isnt recycleable, if that is a word. To organize in my back pack I would put my BODs in recycle bag along with my cloth, make a bunch of items, and then combine into bods, if I went over the number I needed I could just hit recycle button.

I tried this with recycle bag and lost three Horned Runic Kit LBODs. Can only say that I was VERY happy it wasnt a Barbed Runic LBoD

Ack. I still wonder why people use the salvage bag as a regular container. That's like storing kittens in your garbage disposal.

not so much the kitten "problem ..."

More like storing your wedding band, watch, wallet, car keys though ...
You know... something you might like to use again ...
easy to get more kittens ...
Harder to explain/justify loosing the items ...(as if you "could" explain/justify loosing the items ... ^^that way
