I don't see why some people are getting bent out of shape over this.
This rewards people who have spent money on or have used vet reward picks to get soulstones and put a lot of time in to working up different sets of skills.
Perhaps this was long overdue. Either way, you were thrown a bone of sorts.

One other thing...
This, to me, seems to be something that might renew interest to more casual players that may only have a day or two a week in which to spend a few hours playing and feel limited by waiting 24 hours just to switch out skills to try and enjoy the small window of playtime they have available.
Hardcore players are the foundation of any MMO but casuals deserve some love too.

I must remind players with Soulstones that you can only use them in an area of safety
where you can log off at !
That means, your house, a house you been friended to, an inn room at hotel or bank...
Do not think that you can do this a mid field of battle anywhere...
