The Governor started his speech with a brief history of the founding of PaxLair, when citizens of The Band built three buildings in the large meadow east of Yew.

History was made 10 years ago...
As the city slowly grew, a government was formed, with Winfield as the first Mayor. The gods also showed an interest in the city and assisted with gifts and blessings. A major highlight of the city's history was a visit by our king, Lord British. He admired what he found and issued a decree praising the city and its citizens.

Eventually the city grew and formed alliances with other cities. Today the PaxLair statehood is 4 cities working together: PaxLair City, Felucca; Dragons Watch, Felucca; PaxLane, Trammel; and PaxOku in the Tokuno Islands.

Please join the statehood as it celebrates its 10th anniversary in the Realm. Schedules for the anniversary events are found in the skypage calendars, and all are welcome to attend.
