Monks Acting Strangely in Homare-Jima
Silent Rose Library, PaxOku City
by: A PaxOku Reporter

The Monks of the Notorious Monk's Crossing Road that runs North East from
the moongate of Homare-Jima, Tokuno through the Village of Kijustsu Anei
and the City of PaxOku have been acting stranger than normal since the New
Year has began. As most locals are aware, the Monks are famous for
climbing on roofs and scaling outer walls of homes and jumping on the heads
of unsuspecting passers by. This new behavior though is stranger by far
than anything seen since this land was discovered.

The Silent Rose Library in PaxOku has been going through a remodeling stage
the past few days and something strange has been noticed. The Monks
have been sneaking into them to read the books! At least four different
monks have been seen reading. Damage in the amount of 7,457 gold has
occurred to one of the new bookshelves in which the Monk, Mac was standing on.

He jumped off of the bookshelf when asked and proceeded to clean out
the woods to the South East of the library of bake kitsunes. The loot
money was returned to the library to pay for damages.

The Stage at the Silent Rose Library is decorated for PaxLair's 12th
Anniversary. The stage has a replica of the Famous Twin Towers of
Felucca as well as the Spring of Courage. One monk, by the name of
Spencer has taken to going up to the stage and climbing on top of
the twin towers to overlook the lands. It's possible that he was spying
on Governor Winfield of PaxLair or John Duke, a well known slave of the Orcs.

When asked what she thinks of the Monk situation, the Curator of the
Library, Tatania Karthina replied, "I'm glad they're reading the books and
they're always welcome, unless they climb on the bookshelves again. This
time, the damages were paid so I won't be pressing any charges at this time."
