Today, a stranger, Fain (please note Fain has an invulnerable 'yellow' status), was sighted near West Britain Bank selling her wares, apples and other fruits. When offered furniture to help keep her wares fresh and safe, Fain was agreeable until she spotted a gargoyle-style container.
Fain seemed to be quite opposed to the recent opening of the borders allowing free travel of all races by Queen Dawn and Queen Zhah of Ter Mur, and was particularly opposed to Gargoyles in Britannia, implying they are 'evil'. Fain went on to explain she has filed an official complaint against Queen Dawn for 'Dealing with the heretic queen of Gargoyles without taking in account the opinion of the citizens.' This was confirmed by Corporal Brackus of the Town Guards. He assured Fain he had delivered her complaint via the appropriate channels, and has not received anything back from his superiors yet.
Hoping to avoid potential problems for Fain selling her wares on the streets of Britain, Jordan of TAO, a Gargoyle friendly guild, and Bucko asked Corporal Brackus if a permit was needed, and if so, the cost so it could be paid. The good Corporal stated that the town official Eliar is the one who usually mandates permits and collects fees if a permit is required. Meanwhile Bucko the Kid and WildStar, Grand Duchess of Dawn, purchased some of Fain's apples (both remarking that while the apples were tasty, they were not as good as Billy Scranton's apples), while chatting with her about her feelings toward Gargoyles.
Fain strongly encourages all merchants to come to Britain to promote selling their wares at West Britain Bank stating that she had removed the grim effigy and dead goats from the street as the stink of the rotting goats was bad for business.
Later, after Fain left the area, Corporal Brackus reported that Eliar, the town official, had appeared at the bank and spoke with the Corporal and Bucko about the permit, and hinted at a bribe. Eliar even went so far as to try to persuade Bucko to pay his income taxes until he realized that Bucko is underage.
