[News] Launch of Europa History.com

For a while now I have been gathering what I can on EM Events from within Europa and have been compiling an archive of reports and information. Finally I feel it is 'complete' enough to share for anyone wishing to read back or know what went on previously within the EM system.

You can visit the website at Europa History , The events are split into years (2009 and 2010 online at the moment) and then into colours for each storyline.

Since late 2009 I have been attending as many events as I have been able and making reports for Stratics and this site so you will probably recognize some of the reports! Any time I wasn't at an event I have found and with permission used another players report.

I hope this website is of help to you all and I will eventually (when I find more time!) dig out my older screenshots from the previous years of EM Events.​

awesome i kinda started a project like this years ago from europa date line day 1 but when the server crashed and had to be moved the text went pear shaped and i cant do jack **** about it anymore...its a sticky at the top of here.

Great news for us while we're approaching to our own shard's 12th anniversary! I think the site should really have a complete history starting from 1998, maybe even mentioning IGM Talos and seers Illuceus and Intaria. They have some interviews posted here in stratics. Also, it might be a good idea to add some event items unique to Europa shard. Here are some BNN articles from 99 to 02:

Also, maybe a historic establishments section, eg. here is Sword & Shovel tavern's brief history: HISTORY of the Sword & Shovel We have a lot of other taverns currently active like Swaggers, so maybe they deserve a page too.

New Servers Entering Testing Phase Oct 16 1998 5:49PM
As of October 15, the European Worlds, Europa and Drachenfels, enter testing. We will be bringing the servers up for a limited time and we need your help! We really want to stress test these worlds, so please log on the shards with your friends and have a good time. These worlds are not permanent, and will only be live for a couple of days, then the servers will go down and will be completely wiped of all characters, etc. Anything you do during this testing time will not be reflected when the worlds go live. If you have connection problems, please run a traceroute and send the results to us at [email protected] .

Very interesting info about the guilds, I was just asking Petra the other day who the oldest guild in Europa would be. I thought GRD and ELV, Nice to see it is however ClanUK and CLOWN.

I'd love to add information on Europa from before the EM system, Just alot of work! Will have to think about it.

I think Tales of a Traveller is the only place that has the missing BNN articles about Europa like Dark Tides, The Coming of Nocsaal and Rothermere's Travels.

There's a former member of CLOWN in SAOR just now
