In what would have normally been a factual closure of examinations and cross, the Honorable Judge Erlington was abducted from his courtroom over the weekend, during the examination of Aldagar Morr.
Earlier, the prosecution and defense had examined Cymidei Fier to determine whether there was any truth in the claims she may have ties to the Purity League.

Cymidei Fier denied involvement with the Purity League and expressed contempt for Queen Dawn and the gargoyles.
Aldagar Morr emphasized his background as a merchant and charity work. The Prosecution was able to show motives and circumstantial evidence linking both defendants to the Purity League but not conclusive evidence that the pair conspired to and successfully looted the Royal Treasury.
Suddenly a hooded stranger appeared and true to earlier threats abducted the screaming Judge, dragging him into a portal. Prosecutor William McCarthy urged the jury and everyone in the court room to help the judge. The moongate led to a deserted cave in Felucca with a crumbling floor.
Deep underground the judge was imprisoned inside a barricaded fort. Master Assassins and other Purity League forces fought against those who tried to rescue the judge.
The Cartel harassed the rescuers but was not able to secure the area in time to prevent Claudia Drusilla from slipping through an unguarded gate to where the judge was chained to the wall. Claudia freed Judge Erlington and escorted him through the cave. Judge Erlington was overheard shouting "they will hang for this!"
The Court of Truth later released a statement thanking Ms. Drusilla and all of the rescuers involved for the safe return of His Honor, Judge Erlington.
What effect these events may have on the highly anticipated jury deliberations remains to be seen.
