Hello from Miriel & Her Mailbox
Hail & Well Met, Atlantic!
Miriel here, your newest reporter, to introduce myself & tell you about an weekly 'event' (of sorts) that I have put together.
I have been playing on Atlantic for about 3 years. I started on Great Lakes in 1999 & played for 5 years there before taking a break from UO. I own a tiny little vendor house outside of Zento, Zen Garden Vendors & I collect mushroom rubble! I love decorating houses, killing stuff with my greater dragon & doing treasure maps (even though I never get anything good!). My favorite place in the world is the telescope outside of Moonglow City. I remember the first time I ever saw it & how much it made me smile!
I have been assigned to update the player run establishments section of Atlantic. I hope to be bringing you lots of interviews with shop owners, auctioneers & runebook librarians. Please feel free to contact me if you run any of the long standing establishments! I can't wait to talk to you!
Also, I am starting an ongoing, weekly 'event' of my own called Miriel's Mailbox!
I have placed a ballot box at my vendor house (Zen Garden Vendors) & I will be updating it each Monday with a new question. There is also a 'mailbox' at the vendor house that is open to the public for you to leave notes, runes to your player run establishments, trinkets & other things. (Complete instructions on how to use the mailbox are located in the book on top of it.) Each Monday I will post the results of that week's poll & any interesting things that were left in my mailbox & by who! I hope many of you will participate & make this weekly update something fun!
