As a part of the Fourth of July celebrations, EM Crysania visited the Skara Brae Fairegrounds to launch a celebration of freedoms shared by all Britannians.
Crysania promised to be on her very best EM behavior....
And citizens oohed and ahhed as the fireworks displays began!
After the fireworks, there was a drunken darts competition, adjudicated by Crysania, who mandated that anyone who lined up to throw *hic* for her before they were allowed to compete.
Citizens were also treated to a wonderful scavenger hunt, sponsored by Capt Coverteur of C@S. Thanks, Capt!
Of course, no good Crysania event would be complete without a pie fight!
And as it turns out, Crysania's "very best behavior" is subjective, or perhaps that she simply couldn't resist. As the EM conveniently excused herself for a moment, a band of mercenary scouts invaded the celebration. This reporter speculates that "very best behavior" means that we were fortunate she didn't send a paragon.
Still, there were no known casualties, as promised, and the rest of the afternoon was spent with good companionship and lots of sparklers.
