As she gathers her belongings she gazes about the house, “How I will miss
this place” she thinks to herself. As she gathers the last of her belongings,
she utters incomprehensible words and vanishes. She appears at the Luna
bank and looks around. “My the memories, thank god they will never
disappear.” she thinks to herself as she sees the usual bank sitters that dot
the main room. As she gazes about, the memories flood her mind and her
smile begins to quiver. She stifles back the tears that she knows are
inevitable.
She utters tear laden words and vanishes again, this time reappearing in
a forest of Eternally Corrupted Trees. There appears to be no floor, as
the star field stretches out in all directions. The stars appear to sparkle
and whisper to her, “Don’t go!” this just makes it all worse for her.
Unable to hold it back any longer she falls to her knees and begins to
cry. As she is crying, it seems the trees, the liches, and the stars
themselves are weeping with her.
A voice echoes in her head; “It is time my dear, time to come home.”
Kendra knows all to well what she has to do. She stands up and
forces a smile from her red hued face, her eyes glistening from the
teardrops. As she begins to speak, it is as if time itself was slowing
down, trying to prevent her from doing what she has to do. She
utters an ancient arcane phrase and a bright prism of light appears
in front of her as time virtually stops dead in its tracks. She turns
and looks out into the distance, a complete serene feeling swelling
inside her. Then in the blink of an eye, her body dematerializes into
a million pieces, each piece rejoining the great stream of life.
As the last piece joins, an echoing voice can be heard “I will
always be here, looking over you with a smile in my face.
Sosaria couldn’t be in better hands. Baja you were my birthplace,
and it is only fitting that you will be my final place. To everyone
I wish you good tidings and great fortune……”
