Many theories abound as to what really happened to him. Some claim that his sentence was unjust and he was being used as a scapegoat for the ruling council’s failings during this time of turmoil in the Kingdom. So he was executed in private so that the entire war could be forgotten as quickly as possible. Others claim he is hidden away in a jail cell shared with Avery awaiting his end. The romantic image many people have latched onto is that he escaped his captures and is even now in disguise working his trade in Trinsic under the sheriff’s nose.
