The Royal Crier has announced that Dawn has accepted her invitation from the Umbra RBG division to attend the Black Tie Gala.

The RBG and all able citizens are requested to meet in the Throne Room at 7:30 p.m. EST to escort Queen Dawn to the Black Tie Gala of Umbra. All are welcome to stay at the events and enjoy themselves. The guard are required to stay and keep watch over the Queen.

Rumors of strange sightings around the portal to Bedlam have been reported, therefore it is recommended that battle gear is worn or brought in addition to formal attire.

Date/Time: 8/14/10 7:30 p.m. EST

Location: Starting at the Castle British Throne Room, marching toward the moongate to Umbra.

You're welcomed guys, there is certainly more to this storyline. I hope you all paid attention (even through those that were trying to dispurt ooc) to the story and history of Bedlam and its champion boss, Ilhenir.

Personally, I made some mistakes... let me tell you all what happened. So my friend Elisa and I had gotten together and planned the decorations and everything and she was going to make the furniture and put the plants out and everything, I was in charge of the red carpet, and my other friend Griselda was in charge of the food/drink.

Well... Griselda's puppy got sick and was rushed to the vet in the afternoon, I got a text from her about that at 5:57!!!! 6:30 rolled around and Elisa did not show up, she also had some RL issue come up. So in 30 minutes I had to come up with the furniture (couldn't get all the plants like I had liked) and then set up all up WITHOUT A DECO TOOL! Like old school... and I also then had to get all the food!!! Needless to say I had to get my alliance to help me out. I asked a guildie, Mystic, to help me get the food BUT I FORGOT THE BOOZE!!! I did all of that (plus set up my red carpet) in an HOUR. Can we say PANIC?!?!?

I am glad though some of you guys made it work out --- I saw someone go to the bar (right next to the amphitheatre) and buy us some booze. Those pirates are something else without their daily fill!!!! My apologies to them... /tips hat to Hawkeye.

PS. Puppy is okay, got an allergic reaction to the flea bath she had that day.

I had no issues with this Pitr. First off, I own my own tux. Second, when the mob spawn showed I ran out the back door. At least, I think that was the back door. I was not too sure. I had my eyes closed.

And I had lots of fun at the event. Hope you don't mind Aneirin's near constant banter at the events, he never seems to understand when someone else has the floor!

(And kudos to the "Queen" for never reacting to my calling her her wenchness or some variant of... hopefully in the future, we'll get people who react to treating the landlubber wench-queen with such disrespect.)
