As reported by Corporal Brackus and the Town Guards ...
This note was found pegged to the guard tower near West Britain Bank
*** Notice to all merchants, tradesmen, and citizens of Britain ***
Be aware that late Thursday evening, the Premier Gems shop, established and owned by Prudence the jeweler, and located adjacent to the West Bank of Britain was robbed during the late hours of the night. Sometime after the shop’s proprietor closed and locked up the front doors, someone broke into the shop busting up the display cases and made off with the following valuable items:
(5) Amethysts
(3) Tourmalines
(2) Gold Bracelets
(3) Necklaces
(6) Red Rubies
(3) Communication Crystals
(2) Emeralds
and (1) Magical Necklace of Prosperity (which is known to bring the wearer extraordinary luck)
Prudence the jeweler, and the town guards, are looking for information leading to the arrest of the individual, or group of individuals, that undertook this grand caper last evening. Prudence has mentioned the possibility of offering a small reward to anyone who recovers, and returns, the missing valuables that were stolen.
All merchants and tradesmen in Britain should take extra precautions to lock their doors and secure their valuables until the offenders are caught and dealt with according to town law incase they attempt to strike again. With the current state of affairs of the Kingdom, and the transition period we are now in after the demise of the former King, I should not need to remind everyone that law breaking and miscreant behavior will not be tolerated in the streets stirring up unrest for the fine citizens of Britain.
Signed,
Corporal Brackus and the Town Guards
