[NEWS] Citadel of the Fallen Banner Constructed

The town of the Citadel of the Fallen and its citizens are proud to announce that High Lady Mesanna has completed our town banner.

The design contains many elements that are integral parts of our town lore and history. Especially poignant is the carved Tomb of Sir Dupre and the marble replica of Dupre's Shield.

The banner is directly east of the CotF Tavern, which is reachable through the KAV teleport hub. This evening we hope to petition the Crown for inclusion in the Township Teleport Hub.

I would personally like to thank the people who willingly put up with my badgering while I worked countless hours importing art and piecing the banner together in Photoshop.

Keep an eye out for an upcoming forums-based trivia/scavenger hunt week-long event in celebration of our new monument!

Careful with using the brackets for [news] you are suppose to use the [Player news] but since the thread already has responses just remember it for next time. The banner looks wonderful and done really well. As for the Citadel map I will send you the .xcf file. What I do is screenshot the UO radar map and cut out each little building and paste it to the map on a transparent background.

Thanks everyone! I have some screenshots of Mesanna actually building it, I'll try to post those tonight. Somehow a mistake was made and the banner was first built Tram side. Poor Mesanna was having a bad night to begin with I think. I offered to pack up and move to Tram (which probably would have gotten me hauled in front of the War Council for a court marshall), but m'lady was most kind and consented to start over. Half way through, she was called away to another shard for an EM event issue (this was about 1:30am btw on a weeknight). To top that off, she had been working on our "Best Served Cold" event and was subsequently up and on Chessy throughout the next day replacing broken EM Tome items.

Many thanks to High Lady Mesanna for her patience with us... though she did strike Deacon dead at some point...

[Bombastic Fail]

Woot. High fives all around. Exp. to Mesanna, Dross, and Dudley as well. Even if Dross was dying IRL and Dudley took too many sleep meds and I had to "jingle" him awake.
