<h1 style="text-align: center;">Blackrock &amp; Red Spawn</h1>

Its seems we have a new evil spawing in the Lost Lands. Blackrock Elementals along with Nether Votexs and Toxic Ooze are spawning where these strange Black Crystals are spawning. One location was a grasses valley far to the east of Delucia, and another in be found in the desert below the lighthouse.

</td> </tr> </tbody> </table> These Elementals have proved to be almost impossible to kill due to the surpport of the ooze and vortexs, all give off a dangerous aura when you are close to them, causing damage to your health. Even when invis or in stealth if they come close to your location you receive damage and worse are revealed to all the spawn.

</td> </tr> </tbody> </table> As human you need zero skill in mining to dig up a piece of blackrock, [I am not sure if an elf can mine the blackrock], just fine a place where the crystal is and start to dig, if you see a message "You can't seem to find any blackrock..." Keep digging till you see "You unearth a large piece of blackrock! You carefully place it in your backpack." If you do not see that first message then move on to another location.

</td> </tr> </tbody> </table> I managed to get one piece this morning after running for my live several times, and have to call for help after dieing on a little knob of grass when I could not hide due to the aura damage. I used that time while waiting for my rescue to scout the area and get an idea where i wanted to dig when I could get back.

Be sure to carry a few shovels with you as you burn up several trying to get a piece of Blackrock.

This Stuff Is Addicting! Cant seem to Still Figure it out but i have blow my self thru some walls today! heh hehe

I think this shard need some orginized Blackrock Disscusions... Remeber when Sonoma Used to Get Everything Done First.??? We need that Record Again i think...

I managed to get another blackrock digging in the sand near by. way cool that you do not have to dig right on the spot where the crystal spawn

This i have tried or seen or done, now that i have enough to play with hehe...

1 Cast amagedon at the mining site No effect
2 Heard The Wierd Voices
3 Placed Black Rock on rift with wierd effect
4 stood on rift with block rock in pack
5 Tried to blow up a Zog member with armagedon in my house no effect
6 Noticed the Rifts look a lot like the Heartwood Entrance
7 Blew My Self threw a Wall in moonglow a wooden wall
8 tried to blow my self into Ricadros cage/Pen in Yew (Still trying)
9 Gave Black Rock to Inu In tokuno with Major Agitation on her part
10 Cast argaggdon on inu Blew my self to parts
and thats all i can think of... for now...

for those that do not know it there are three location so far that have the blackrock spawning

I have yet to check the last location show above as the location is far more dangerous even without the Blackrock. For those that may not know the area, that is Wyrm Island.

Does anyone know how to hear the voices? Does one have to be a Legendary Mage or is it random? Do they only start speaking to you after a certain number of casts?

My 110 mage has successfully cast Armageddon twice (or as close as one can get to it). The first time he lost control of the wild magical energies and the second time he took 6600 points of damage.

He's a bit "off" anyway and is a little envious that the voices don't speak to him.

i know that i hear them now even when i am not even near any black or if i am not even carrying a piece.. it is quite wierd and i have name it "Voice"

BLACKROCK INFECTED CHESTS EXSIST!!!


Ok today when i poped in on the ice fiends and killed them, at the next spawn a Black Rock Infected Ice Fiend appered and killed me as i stared in Awe!!!

After Finding a Healer (and you know how that can be near the Ice Caves)...
I went back and killed it...
Here are my notes:
It was black.
It highlights red
After it was dead it corpse looked like a shadow Wyvern Corpse (All Ghost Looking)
It was as easy to kill as a plain one allthought it did seem a bit fast and that what threw me off a bit...
It did contain the regular loot as well as a Blackrock Infected Wooden Chest.
This Chest is Like a GM level Chest and has a level 5 map in it... (Do These Maps Give Special artifacts?) I do not know as i gave my map to the THB Public Box....

And thats all i got on that,sorry no pics but if you want one or want to see the box look me up...

Sorry but I just log in and check that chest, saw a Level 5 map, not a level 6. Since the Ice Fiend normally will have a level 5 map as loot sometimes this is a normal map for the monster, yet the box you got is not.

My bad, Edited Post to Adjust map level and skill hehe. I just know that i could not open it with magic so to me that just means high end. And So the Lockpicker i had open that chest, just opens them for the gems and never goes beyond Moonglow isle lol. Hence the confusion...
Glad at least some one else is interested and Working to figure these things out!

I casted Vas Kal An Mani In Corp Hur Tym with a piece of black rock on the floor next to me. It blew me threw the floor and also out the wall of the house I was at. I'll post pictures later when I edit the shots I took.

Yay! I cast it 3 more times last night, each time with an additional piece of blackrock in my backpack (not sure if it matters or not) and now hear the voice talking to me in my head.

It keeps the other voices company.

This text is found in a book on the floor in Lord British's castle. Its next to a shield that I wouldn't mind owning and a power supply. It refers to the wisp dungeon near the shrine of honesty in Ilshenar. I tried armageddon in the balron room in the wisp dungeon but nothing happened.
