Last evening I dropped in to visit EM Kasaven to see how his redecoration of the old Counselors’ guild Hall, on the north west side of Britain, was doing, and maybe to have a ale with him. I walked in to find he had accomplished most of the decorating and was enjoying some lively banter with a handful of people. Never one to miss a good time I grabbed a seat and joined in teasing a few with jest, and watching the antics of others. Most of the evening was light hearted, but EM Kasaven did become serious for a moment and this is what I wish to share with all of you.
Most of the group became quiet and listened closely as he talked about “Owain Surrey” a bit of a clairvoyant prophet that he had met recently. It seems that this Owain has dreams that many times come true in time. Now this Owain fellow goes to places where he can find people and warns them of his dreams. So if you see him, listen as best you can and share it with anyone whom you think may care.
One member of our group then asked EM Kasaven if something is happening how will we know we are needed. He answered by saying that he hopes to gather the people together in three ways. The first is he plans to leave a book in the his Hall in Britain a day before we are needed. The second is he will light the lantern at the entrance to Lord Britain’s castle. Lastly he will ask the town criers to yell the news out to all that pass them. As a forth way, I will also endeavor to get the news out to the good people as soon as I hear we are needed. That way we can have as many people there as we can get.
I digress though for most of the evening was spent in good cheer as many people came in to meet and chat to the newest member of our community. I will give tell all of you this EM Kasaven is a avid Chess players and loves a challenging game. He does hate to lose though so if you play him ask yourself why there is a lever on the floor beside the chess table.
Once again I encourage all of you to drop in and see what he has done with the hall and hopefully he will be around for you to welcome to the shard. If not there are many interesting things to see in the place he now calls his home.
