An Addition to Community Hunts Starting Soon!
Advanced Champion Spawns Every Saturday Night
(beginning Saturday February 21st - EDIT Sunday February 22nd)

Many of you may know Elendil Felagund as a former admiral with past invasions. He is willing to lead the cause again but this time in search of fortune for all who choose to participate. He has recently volunteered to host an additional community hunt for us players to gather for the more advanced champion spawns that Ilshenar and Malas have to offer.


Currently there are 3 champion battles that are less battled due to the sheer intensity and multiple deaths that ensue:

The Pestilence Champion Spawn located under the graveyard in Bedlam, Umbra
The Twisted Wield Champion Spawn located in Twisted Wield, Spirituality
The Tormented Minotaur Champion Spawn located in the Labyrinth, Malas

Every Saturday night at 8pm CST all players interested in doing the Advanced Champion Spawn Community Hunt will meet above the bank in Luna. Take the steps up next to the Shrine of Wisdom in the meeting room there.

The Advanced Champs will start taking place Saturday February 21st to give everyone enough time to research and plan out their form of attack. EDIT: The first hunt will be on Sunday Feb 22nd this time only due to a r/l wedding the 21st. The first champ will be the Pestilence Champ in Bedlam. We will update you as the day approaches with a hunter’s guideline of what to expect at each level.

I eagerly await the challenge. I shall try to attend as many Saturdays as I can, but the weekend evenings usually end up being family time instead of UO time.

With Elendil at the helm I know to expect great times, and will be there as often as possible to lend a bardic hand. At the very least I will be manning a rez station, as since my return my quickness and internet speed have not been kind.

I've done the Pestilence champ twice: Bring a lot of people, and try your best to keep a rez-station clear. Take care to not all die on your way in.

I've done Meraktus twice. No real advice here....Don't drag Rend over, I guess, but that should be obvious. Other than that, watch out for the champion's area effects.

Only seen the Weald champ once, and the party I led myself was unable to spawn it. No advice on that one. Umm....Well, kinda. You know how normally you flag on something of positive karma, and other positive karma things won't target you? Like, for example, you can flag on Centaurs at Lord Oaks and Unicorns won't target you? At the Weald spawn, on level 3, the Cus will target you once you flag on Satyrs. Very annoying. Also the Cus have a habit of nearly all spawning as Paragons.
