Newbie PvM paladin template?

Is this a good template for a newbie paladin? (Aka. a [Young] paladin, that doesn't have any stat equipment, power scrolls, etc). I only have starter equipment, atm. I should able to get some better store bought equipment, soon, but probably nothing with any stat, or skill mods.

All stats/skills are base:

STR: 90
DEX: 90
INT: 45 (RAISED TO 50 AFTER 6 MONTHS)
TOTAL: 225 (230 AFTER 6 MONTHS)

CHIVALRY: 100
SWORDSMANSHIP: 100
ANATOMY: 100
TACTICS: 100
PARRYING: 100
RESIST MAGIC: 100
HEALING: 100
TOTAL: 700

As you can see, it's a pretty simple build. I'm hoping this should be enough to get me through the early dungeons, until I can get some decent drops, that would allow me to improve my character.

Feel free to recommend any tweaks to this build. Also, please let me know of any useful equipment drops, that I could obtain from the early dungeons.

That will work. I'd get Str to 100 and use a fast weapon.

Sounds good. Should I take 10 points off of Dexterity, or Intelligence?

I'd take it off of int.

What shard are you on? You might be able to get someone to make you a pretty basic suit for more or less free. As long as it doesn't require special ingredients (or you supply them if it does) it's not really that expensive.

The most important item you need to acquire is a 120 power scroll for your Melee skill. Until then, your template is fine. Also, find an artificer to make you a quality starter weapon.

120 macefighting is very cheap. You can get this amount of gold in one day.

I'd go with 100 bushido instead of 100 resist to have more offensive options and cheaper special attacks.
And as CorwinXX suggested, go with macing at first, since the 120 scroll for it is very cheap.

Also, which shard are you playing at?
If you ended up at Legends, I can provide you with good starting weapons and armour for free.
