So I've been playing for about 3 weeks now and decided that I should start a crafting/mule type character to back up my main character. The only thing I have not figured out yet is how to safely transfer goods between these characters. What is the best/safest way to do this?

For many a year i used a quiet inn, i would log the new char out there and bring the items on the other char, place them in a chest or bookshelf(not the floor as someone can see without checking) log out and back in with the other char.

I did lose some stuff over the years due to connection problems for example...or the nasty stealthers who watched me.

Other than that, get friended to a house or a person you trust to friend you to there pack animal.

Best way as mentioned above, is to get a house. Depending on what shard you play that can be pretty easy or if you play on a larger shard like Atlantic that might be a little tougher. I'm sure someone here plays on the same shard that you do and would help you find a good spot and maybe fix you up with things such as chests, forge, and anvil, as well as showing how to lock/secure items so that they don't decay.

I really haven't had any problem placing houses on Atlantic. I've found 3 spots (one is in Fel) in about an hour of looking. Ok one spot was shown to me by a friend. If you play on Atlantic shoot me a PM and we'll work out a time and go find a house spot.
