Newb question pls help! - Making Bottles??

I was gone from uo for a long time and since coming back I buy alot of bottles for potions and the price never goes back down??? People tell me it's because you can craft bottles? I have never heard of this and have no idea how to do it. If anyone has the time, please tell me how to do it! thank you

The price only comes back down when vendors are reset, which isn't often.

Making bottles is slow and tedious, but this is how it's done.

1. First of all, you will need a GM Alchemist (which you either have or are working on it).
2. Next, the Alchemist needs to go to the Gargoyle city in Central Ilshenar, and buy the book on glassblowing, and use it. You will also need to buy the book on mining sand, for a GM Miner to use.
3. Also buy up a bunch of the glassblowing tools. Last I remember, tinkers can't make the pipes.
4. Find you a good glassblowing talisman.
5. Now, to make the bottles you will need sand. Send the miner out to sandy areas to mine sand. Any sand will do; beaches, deserts, even the "sandbox" in Umbra between the bank and the inn.
6. Unfortunately sand doesn't stack so you'll have to do a lot of mining trips.
7. Using the tool and a forge, you can then make bottles from the sand with your alchemist.

oh my gosh! You would think they would make the sand stackable with all it takes to make a darn bottle!
