Used to play UO back in the 90s...reactivating my old account today, and I like being able to get ganked so to Siege I go...

Looking for a way to communicate with other players so I can ask questions and meet active players - yo guys all hang out in IRC somewhere? Looking for a guild or mentor, too, I guess...mostly looking to accumulate wealth I guess

Your first step should be the NEW guild. They can introduce you to newer players, help with templates and skills and keep you outfitted in training gear

After thirty days in NEW...Shalimar will help you with a guild that meets your playstyle. There are many on Siege that fit many different playstyles

Welcome back. First thing to know is that there is now a global chat function available. By default you will be in the Help channel which nobody uses. If you are using the old 2d client, bring up the menu bar and click on the chat button to select the General channel.

If you are new to Siege (skills less than GM) you should consider joining NEW, a special guild here on Siege which helps out newcomers during their first month or so. Whilst in NEW you can get to know the shard and the people here before making a decision about a regular guild.

People alot of times don't know that after you join General chat you use the < key to talk in it..

next to the M key the "," - "<" key.

i would suggest giving NEW try and then if factions are your thing give i4ni a shout in genral chat we get ya hooked up
