New to OSI

Hi everyone, i've played UO for a while on freeshards and i'm finally coming to OSI. I'd like to know a couple of things about it:

·Which(s) shard(s) are the most populated? i believe Europa is the "closest" ping-wise to me, but i read it has a very low population. How much ping can i have to a shard for it to be acceptable for me to play on it?
·What about unnattended macroing? is it penalized? can you do it at least for skill training purposes?

Atlantic is the most populated, and unattended macroing isn't allowed under any situation. You might want to take a look at what programs are allowed. Off the top of my head I know UOAssist, UO Automap, and I believe UO Cartographer is allowed but I don't know if it is on the official list.
