New to Invasion... Question

So I use the help system to get out of a tight spot (wasn't grey screen yet), and go to get a drink. I come back, see that I have been teleported to EBB and have been ganked by a Ancient Wyrm.

I get my bard and spend the rest of the day happily provoking corporals, captains and dragons. Aside from a huge amount of loot on the higher ranked people, do I get anything for killing them? Do they respawn after I kill them or is it once they are all dead, EBB invasion over?

And what is [cowardice]. I am not scary unless you've got loot.

Any answers to my newb question will be greatly appreciated.

Won't matter for much longer, the invasions will end with the next Publish, and the remainder of the Warriors of Destiny arc will be handled by Event Moderators.
