if succesful it drains a certain amount of your targets stamina, depending on how much damage you do.

Yea, I think all the new arties/imbued new jewerly have durability.

I'll be curious to see if they grandfather in old jewelry.

The Ring is very nice though, would make a nice set with an Orny if you're willing to run the risk...

Although a lot of the Garg arties are goofy, some have like -40% DI or like -20%(?) DCI, it's weird.

The one caster shield that has a change to restore a percentage of damage dealt to your mana is pretty awesome as well, but still not enough to outweigh the ridiculous non-magelike props of earrings and necklaces.
