The idea is pretty simple (even if is not simple to achieve
): a new quest log, not a big giant gump that requirest tons of click to see what you still have to do, but a small transparent window, structured like the mobiles list, that shows all the quests and the objective name and how many kill/items you still need.
The description will be visible on mouse over tooltip (with the objectives too).
In addition to all that, the quest marker over the NPCs head will return (it will become gray when you already have the maximum amount of quests), and a ? will show on the head of the NPCs that are waiting for a quest to be delivered (gray if the quest is not completed yet).
I'm also thinking about a couple other symbols:
- Shield: over the head of the NPC that you need to escort.
- Star (or something else, I'm not sure about this): over the head of the NPC that you need to kill.
The only downside of this system is the old quest system that can't be integrated (unless I find a way, in a second time).
