New Quest How To???

Hail Sosarians,

I have obtained a quest from the NPC nearest the Moongate of Magincia. I have these questions:

Are there other current "new" quests besides this one?

How/where are they obtained?

Having killed Corrupted Souls for several hours yet receiving NO threads...what am I doing wrong or not doing correctly?

Any verified information will be greatly appreciated.

Try reading up on events there.

As for your threads, some people seem to not be getting any using any method.
If you kill with summons or pets, you don't get any.
Warriors have better luck than mages according to some reports (my necro-mage is doing great though)
And the threads of thought quest is bugged, estimated time of fix = today or tomorrow
