Hello, potentially new player speaking.

I'm thinking about joining the official community of ultima online. Most precisely on Siege Perilous. I'm pvp lover, coming from pre-aos free shards.

I'm tired of the same old sync drop kind of pvp, i want something new, more complex or/and with more choices in pvp and stuff in general. Then i discovered this place.

So i have some questions about the shard and the pvp itself.

The economy is better balanced than the other available shards ?
With a trial account can I log in Siege Perilous?

Where can i read about how the pvp works and its skill templates?
Whats the best way to make money in this shard as a new player?

Is there someone new around? I would like to find company to play

1.) Yes because of no insurance we have a constant need and supply of raw materials, and a decent amount of cash-flow.
2.) Yes
3.) I would go to the profession forums to read up on different templates, but my best advice is: Play what you like, try it out and do it.
4.) Imbuing recourses are always in demand, look in New Magincia what the brokers are buying, hunt for it and sell it to them.
5.) We see new names quiet often in gen chat, some are staying and become great members of the siege community, some leave again for various reasosn....I hope you will find what you are looking for and enjoy the game!

- As NPC vendors don't buy anything = less money added to the game and they don't sell resources, so trading between players are working here.
- With no item insurance and only one Siege bless items get lost easy. So prices for suits do not go sky high here. Ho would pay mills for something you can lose 5 min after?

- Yes but you can only use global Help Chat, not General Chat

- Both Stratics and UO Guide have some info too

Whats the best way to make money in this shard as a new player?
- As Wolfman said. You need no skill to find cotton in the fields or use a dagger on a sheep before you kill it and get wool. To make bolt of clothes, you need to find a Spinn and a Loom in a tailor shop. Don't use your best weapon, as tools break / have uses.

- We do not have a lot NEW2 members at the moment, as we are waiting for a new update, that will improve the global loot and some other updates http://uo.com/article/Publish-86-TC1
- Ask for a NEW2 leader in game, as you can't use global gen chat, try find a player who can and ask them to ask in gen chat
