The combinations are limitless. However, I suggest figure out do you want to be Warrior, Tamer, Mage, or Bard. The easiest to start off with in my opion is Warrior.

If you choose the warrior route this is my suggestion for an easy first time character. Use the following skills weapon skill(Sword, Fence, Mace, Archery, and Throwing), Tactics, Anatomy, Healing, Chivalry the last two skills are up to you. Many go with Bushido and Necromancy for Sampire. I recommend you wait on doing this. You could go with Focus and Resist, or Med and Resist.

Next, you have to consider race Human, Elf and Gargoyle. Each has its own pros, and Cons.

You want your armor to have 60 to 70 resist. You also want to have 45 DCI(Defensive Chance Increase), and if possible HCI(Hit Chance Increase).

I strongly recommend you check out your shards forum on Stratics. Post New Player looking for a Guild. There you should be able to find a guild to teach you were to hunt, and how to play the game.

Welcome to Ultima Online, "THE" great online multiplayer game !!!

Hope you will have ton of fun with it !!

What shard did you pick ?
If you let us know what shard you choose players might be able to help you out better.

Also, it could be helpfull to join a good Guild on your shard to expedite your training and shorten the time to be up and running in the game.

To try select a Guild that is friendlier to new players, check out your Shard Forum at Shard Forums - Stratics Forums and ask to players on your shard if they have a good Guild, friendly to new players of the game, to suggest to you.

Welcome again !!
