New pet commands on Test Centre

I've been playing around with them to find out how they work

A pet will go into 'passive' mode in the following circumstances:

Commanded 'stop'
Commanded 'stay'
on death.

While in passive mode it will not react to anything attacking it.

This allows you to use 'all stop, all follow me' to lead it through a busy spawn area, to call it away from a fight, and to rez and heal it without it charging back to a fight too early.

However, you need to break it out of passive so that it will autodefend afterwards. You do that by issuing a 'kill' or 'guard' command.

A pet that's been commanded 'all stay', 'all kill' will autodefend but not return to the owner at the end of a fight, or if the target invises.

If you use 'all kill' 'all stay' for targets like Melisande you must re-issue the 'all kill' or the pet will not continue fighting.

Any questions?

No question, but a comment, or 2.

1) THANKS A LOT Petra for all your testing!! Really appreciated!

2) nasty that death makes the pets passive...

Actually, no, it's great. Having them passive after a death means they stay put long enough for you to heal them up instead of them charging off the minute they're rezed.
Fighting doesn't start again till you're ready for it.
