- Arch Cure now cures poison at the same difficulty as the regular cure spell.

At 120 magery:
Level 1: 100% chance to cure
Level 2: 100% chance to cure
Level 3: 97% chance to cure
Level 4: 66% chance to cure
Level 5: 35% chance to cure

___

As if the lethal poisoners needed another bump.

Haha. I'm starting to like my templates even more.

Uhhh.. what are you guys talking about? I'll admit, 35% chance at 120 magery is downright dumb. It should be more like 50-70ish, BUT..

There shouldn't be all these damn ways to avoid poison. You have petals, forms, pots.. probably some other stuff that I'm forgetting. The point is, right now nox is a pancake of a skill to train, and yet it sucks. It is cured far too easily. The thing I don't like about this change is that mages will now be forced to use petals, pots, etc instead of spells.

Petals don't cure level 5 poison. Vamp embrace form doesn't cure level 5 poison. The only way, right now, to cure it is pots, chiv, and magery.

*Edit* And to be honest, I think nox is relatively easy to train. It just requires time and a lot of pots. Not like its difficult, just time consuming.

Hahahahahahahaha

And people were more concerned about friggin' pet summon balls?

Maybe the concerns should be about getting back to the basics of what made this a great game to begin with instead of finding ways to screw it up more the way the devs before them did. Holy hell.

Amen!

*edit* I just wish for one damn week they would make the "pure mage" the template of the month at EA. I would love to see all the soulstone addicts turn into a whirlwind of macroing scribe, eval, wrestling, magery, med, and resisting spells.

When the kids that make a pure mage would get handled by all the other real mages on the shard they would just wonder, wow, mabey it wasn't as easy as I thought.

Wow why can't they just make cure pots that affective and leave arch cure alone. Arch cure isnt over powered like a potion is.

amen to that!!! Very nice philosophy. Pots should be weaker compared to arch cure. Like you said, reverse it...pots=regular cure. Arch cure= any poison.

They already have regular cure pots. They also have lesser cures...

It's easy enough to fizzle an arch cure with a feeble mind or even magic arrow and harm but its impossible to fizzle a cure potion. Maybe if they put on a timer so chugging isn't instant it would be more fair so while someone chugs you have enough time to cast another poison but there isnt a 100% chance of resisting it unless they dont have resist which is their own fault.

p.s. Sorry for the late post, was gone for Easter.

I wouldnt be against a timer for cure pots if they increased the amount of mana it took to do infecting strike & running shot.

I concur. I don't think cure pots are a problem, especially since people can spam it. I think the way it is now its balanced enough. Not to mention Kahlan, you are lucky that 80% of GL doesn't even use pots.

I dont mind cure pots, I have enough mana to do 4 or 5 ais in a row if i want to. If they have a bunch of cure pots I can just bleed, then finish em off. So carry em if you want.

That alone deserves some attention from the test shard :/

Not because it's you, but because it's almost every dexxer on the shard.

Mabey potions in general need a shot in the arm, so the dex and str pots are not

as powerful. I'm not sure how to balance it. I just wish that my specials

worked when I healed myself
that would at least make me a little bit

happy.... for a minute.
