New paper doll options in the EC...

I remember this being mentioned as a part of 70, but did not expect to be able to use it before the complete publish.

I have to admit that it greatly improves my visual opinion of the EC and might just get me to make the leap. Is it perfect, no, but it is a real nice compromise.

Be sure to us the default UI setting because the mods have not been updated to display the classic paper doll.

I wonder if the EC should be classified as having "Failed", I made a new character a couple of weeks ago, decided to train him up exclusively in the EC and while doing so check out a few of the UI Mods.

I pretty much use the EC exclusively now. I can do things with it that were unthinkable with the Classic Client, even with UO Assist, without the loss of anything I was doing before the EC.

Let me make a short list of things I use the EC for the CC couldn't handle...

1. Seperate Hotkeys to Equip each Slayer Weapon, or Talisman
2. I don't have to "grab" lifebars now they come on my screen automatically in a sidebar
3. The UI Mod I use shows Unraveling Mats for easier more effecient looting
4. I actually lag less
5. Better scaleability of the Play Window.. I don't have 8 inches of black space beside the Play window anymore.
6. Takes the EC about 1/2 a second or less to fully equip a suit from a hotkey. Great right after a Rez and nothing gets "lost" under items in my Pack.

All things considered I think the EC could be more than it is if they didn't have to keep server side compatibility with both it and the CC, but I'm ok with it. While I've not been using the CC much I'll still support anyone wanting to continue using it...
