I started playing UO when there was only Fel, however it has been about 4 years since I have had a subscription. I lost everything...it was all in my house...and it fell. I have started anew, however so much has changed! I know a little about the new changes, but Im still an old school newbie. This game is alot to handle when I'm used to fel stones and T2A as new game updates.

I even feel the adrenalin as I enter a dungeon or PVP...its kinda cool to feel that again!

I have a lot of questions and I appreciate the time anyone has to spend, even if you only have the time or knowledge to answer 1 or 2. TY

1. What are Spring Cleaning tickets?

2. Whats the difference between Horned vs Barbed Vs Spined Leather. I have a GM tailor how do I make them.

3. How do I make this custom leather armor with all these great stats that I see? I have a GM tailor

4. How many fragments in a soul stone?

5. Does the color of hair dye bottle correspond to the color you will get?

6. Does a Hair Restyle deed also allow you choose a new beard? I forget...

7. Is there a downfall to buying plate armor for a mage when it says mage armor, over other types of armor like leather?

8. What is this spell book that opens up next to my backpack in my paperdoll when I click on it?

9. Whats the deal when building a custom 18 x 18 house and you try to put a wall segment next to a section of stairs...how come they don't line up flush??

10. If I keep blessed items in a pouch can they be taken off my corpse? Do I have to keep them in my main pouch?

11. I hear a lot about Mage Weps...what is a mage wep and why or how can mages use weapons w/o weapon skill??

Ok let me try to awser some of these.



1. What are Spring Cleaning tickets?

The event just ended a week ago to get tickets. We can still turn in tickets for points. Several items could be turned in to variuos NPC, they gave us spring cleanign tickets in return. For a certain amout of ticket point , we could claim rewards.

You need to collect the diferent leather from different monsters and animals.In the tailor menu you change the leather type if you want to make something in that leather. Like Colored Ingots do for smithing and colored wood do for carpentry.Each leather type has its own benefits in resist if you use them. You can also enhanced items with Leather/wood or ingots but there is always a risk to break your items.

They come from Sewingkit Runics. You can get those with doing Bulk Order deeds from the NPC.

4. How many fragments in a soul stone?

Soulstones and Soulstone fragments are 2 different things. Fragments only have limited charges.WHile Soulstone have unlimited Charges.
Soulstone and Fragments are acount bounded. You can get Soulstone Tokens from Player Vendors or get your own Soulstone as a 1st year Veteran reward.

Yes.

6. Does a Hair Restyle deed also allow you choose a new beard? I forget...

Nope.

7. Is there a downfall to buying plate armor for a mage when it says mage armor, over other types of armor like leather?

Besides that its heavyer Mage armor works the same as Leather/Leaf armor.

8. What is this spell book that opens up next to my backpack in my paperdoll when I click on it?

The white one is the Paladins spellbook and the other one is the special moves one for weapons.

Not sure what you mean.

You need to keep blessed items in your main backpack.

A mahe weapon is a weapon that used by mage. It will uses the magery skill as skill instead Swords for example. Some of those wepaons have a penalty. If it satys -20 and you have 100 Magery. It will use that weapon like you have 80 fighting skill.
