New Necro Mistake?

I've noticed this in the past..

When you goto make a new Necro, the game starts you out with 30 fencing and it gives you a bone harvester (swordsmanship).

What sense does that make?

Yes Some of the other template do not give the items for help the new player. This just one of such. But this is not NEW.

The original Temp had Swords not Fencing so it looks like when they changed the Temp, they forget to change the weapon. On another note, I've been creating new chars in KR (to get a feel for it) and noticed that when you use the Customized button (Advanced in 2d) you get 120 points to pick up to 4 skills with vs 100 pts and 3 skills in 2d. Me likes

The thread title doesn't mean the bug is NEW.. It means NEW as in NEW Character.

I like KR but the fact that I have trouble patching over 400MB+2G of the actual game of data over satallite prevents me from experiencing it.

I do have a very old version of it I got last year but I can't patch it unfortunatly (connection oriented problem)

Yes, I noticed that too. If you start in KR, you also have an opportunity to get a rune from the Dark Knight so you can go back later and get the skills trainer statue from him.

I've completed that quest twice now, 1st time I got the Ring of the Savant (heals u) and 2nd time I got an Echo Staff, (does some kind of damage when you double click it and target something). No skills trainer yet tho
