As I'm selling off all my stuff, it made me wonder about those Animal Brokers that are coming, and the max price that can be used.
Something like 125mil, or can it be more?
If someone wanted to sell a blaze cu for 400mil, is that possible, or have they just built in more obsolescence?

I was just able, on tc1, to price a pack horse for 400 million. not sure how one could actually buy it, as bank storage limit is what 175 (million?), but it was able to be priced that high.

You guys didn't hear about the new gold sink?

When you price an item over 175M and it is bought it empties both the buyer's bank and the seller's. LOL.

The maximum price i am able to set on a dog on TC1 just now is 999,999,999.

I just missed out on testing a lease renewal (which just happened and ended up being $0 cause no one else bid on my plot).

I may not be looking in the right place, and I do not see the info listed in the "New Magincia Encampments.pdf" - but ...

If i do not have the weekly fee of 50,000,049 (on a billion gold dog for sale), what should I expect at the end of this next week if I have a dog remaining in inventory and priced that high - do i lose my dog, other pets, lease, etc?

First, you wont be able to alter pet pricing or adjust the shop inventory:

It is possible for your account balance with your Pet Broker to become negative due to fees charged. (..) If your pet broker does not have sufficient funds to cover fees charged, you will be required to pay the back fees before you may alter pet pricing or adjust the shop inventory.
Then, after the lease ends, the inventory and the negative funds will be transferred to the Warehouse Superintendent Npc:

When a stall lease ends, the hired broker will transfer any remaining inventory and funds into the Warehouse of New Magincia. The broker’s former employer has one week to reclaim those animals or commodities, and funds.
It is not clear whether you need to pay the negative balance or not before claiming the inventory. You might actually lose the pet if that is the case. I hope someone actually tested this and it is bug-free.

Earlier this morning, with a billion dollar dog for remaining sale, the 'Broker Account Balance' was listed as -3,325,787.
The only menu option available is deposit funds and the 'Deposit Funds' field was auto-populated with 17,611,515. (?two days funding?)
At around 3:30pm EST my 'Broker Account Balance' changed to -3,868,529.

Checking the Stall sign, under the 'My Stall Lease' option sub-menu I can select "Fire Broker" or "Abandon Lease".
I have Lease Duration listed as 5 Days remaining.

Attempting to choose 'Fire broker' prompts a message "In order to fire your broker, you must retrieve all your inventory and withdraw all funds from its account. Once your broker's inventory is empty and its account balance is zero, return to the MY STALL LEASE menu and try again."

Attempting to choose 'Abandon Lease' prompts a message "If you choose to abandon your lease, you will not receive a refund of any fees paid. The stall will be re-auctioned for a new lease within 12 hours. Note that you may choose to bid for a new lease on a different stall without abandoning your current lease. You may not abandon your lease at this time because you have a hired broker working in the stall. To abandon your lease, fire your broker and return here to try again."

I am currently in the process of a bid on another stall to see what may occur.

(I really need to take the time and learn how to post screen shots here).

No, that calculates to 300.
Oh man... this made me laugh. Utter FAIL...
my point wasn't in reference to the 400mil it was a simple question as to will the NEW vendors accept checks from your back pack and bank if someone was to place a dog for sale at 300mil try to think before you react talk about a complete fail ill hold the mirror up for ya...

What if you reprice later, do you get that standard vending penalty?

The brokers only transfer funds between bank boxes; carried checks and gold will not be used. It is currently possible to price a pet higher than someone should theoretically be able to pay. The brokers will happy collect their fees for your impossibly priced merchandise...

If the broker's balance goes negative, the owner is not allowed to do anything with the broker until the balance is brought positive again. You are still allowed to bid on stalls, though, so if you win a new stall while your broker has a negative balance then the broker will still transfer to the new stall, keeping its current state.

A broker with a negative balance will still attempt to do business with customers. The proceeds from any sales will be first applied to the back fees.

If a broker with a negative balance goes to storage, you can't retrieve items from storage until you pay the back fees. If you get yourself into too deep a hole and can't or won't pay the fees, then after 7 days in the warehouse the broker inventory will be deleted and the back fees written off.

These brokers assess their fees on a continuous basis instead of assessing them periodically. There is no way to avoid the fees by attempting to re-price inventory immediately before an assessment, so there is no need for a penalty. When you re-price inventory, the old fee is assessed up until the moment of the re-price, then fees are immediately recalculated. The same is true for sales; the fees are assessed up to the moment of the sale, then fees are reduced immediately at the time of a sale to reflect the decrease in inventory value.

is it possible to some how add this in game in the future as well as allow use to drop checks on vendors for payments.

So we drop checks on the vendor until we can pay his/her fee?

Why can't you make it so if an item exceeds the 125 item normal bank box fee a 2nd broker is created by the purchaser and then that person adds checks to that one until the balance is met?

Safe secure transfers of large "moveable" items...but it could be used for houses too.

There would have to be some time limit to avoid griefing.

Doesn't something seem a bit odd about the statement "your impossibly priced merchandise..."?
Guess we all know who Can't afford a blaze dog, Ha. Coding lets us Set an impossible price, it should also find a way to let others to pay it, instead of Half done.
(imo), If someone(s) were more in touch w/ the game, they'd know about animal prices. Looks like another FAIL to me. But hey, be glad you got this much, considering how lame Cal thinks tamers are
