New Forum Theme You Might Like!

It's kind of a work in progress, but Stratics Forums has a new forum theme that you might like. The theme is called "[XenCrea] Scroll." For instructions on how to change themes, see: How to Change Themes | Stratics: A Career Path in Gaming.

cool a little to peachy/pink for me also almost no way to tell where the text box is and the regular page as they almost the same color

Har! Do you have a dial or whistle that lets you know how many using what theme? it might be an interesting survey. I use plain ole animate.

I can run an SQL query. Last time I did it (1 Oct), these were the results:

Defaut - 23
Default-UOClassic - 270
Blackend - 18
Blackend-Blue - 20
Blackend-Green - 14
Blackend-Purple - 8
Blackend-Red - 9
Flexile Dark - 5
Flexile Red - 3
Flexile Purple - 2
Flexile Green - 12
Animate - 62
Class - 12
Animate-Light - 1

The more themes we have, the longer it takes to complete template updates/edits. I'm hoping to remove a couple of the Flexile and blackend themes, but want to have a nice selection of both dark and light themes to choose from.

I use the default (currently Animate), because I feel that I should have to look at whatever visitors are subjected to.

When I erase cookies my account logs out. When I open the Uhall Favorite it is a black theme. If default is black, then you are correct. I use UO-Classic.

Unregistered get Animate, as well, since it's set to the default theme. (The theme titled "Default" is just XenForo's out-of-the-box theme--it's not set to our default). But I didn't count users who just leave it set to whatever the default theme is. I only counted users who specifically chose each theme.

It's animated for me in the Animate theme. I'll have to do a template edit for the others.

New isn't too bad.... rather softer on the eyes than the black. I just miss when you could shut off or close/minimize forums you don't care about.... like anything other than UO.

I am with Kelmo! Dark is better... Plus with that old boring look I can't do all my funky colors...

You can ignore forums that don't interest you in your "What's New?" button. This way, you only see new posts in the forums that interest you. Instructions here: How to Customize "What's New?" | Stratics: A Career Path in Gaming.

Separately, you can collapse categories that do not interest you by clicking the buttons circled in the image below.

I'm liking the parchment look... only bit I'm not a fan of is the pink/peach/salmon/whatever used for the menu bar up top... other than that, it got me to change from black and green... at least for now.

They're there. The button images just aren't showing.
