got my kids doin fishing.

they pullin up serpents...
says..

...you pull up a monster: along side a sodden piece of parchment.

kill the serpent.

nothing on corpse.

use a knife to skin it, nothing on corpse.

this happened once i was like ok whatever.

now they pulled up another serpent and this time said same thing
but it gave me a tattered treasure map.

but still no parchment.

i know these pieces are for the orc ship but im not getting them.

restarted client, no new patchs, nothing..

answers for my kids?

Aye... parchment means there should be a treasure map on the serpent's corpse.

To have a chance at the orc ship pieces, you have to do the pirate capture quest.

No not that I know of.

Cail has nicely posted all the info you need about the quests, but I personally would just build up a stock of the new fish until Publish 69 hits your shard, When they have increased the chance of a PS as a quest reward.
