new event reward boxes dissappear?

as I understand it the loser side reward boxes disappears when they lose.
everyone is aiding the banes as it is much easier.

so if i choose the side of orphs and the bane (with the help of others) always win then even if I push the bane back after orphs lose then my rewards box is gone?

or can you get a reward after the next battle shows?
