New dragons teleporting into "private" houses

I have about had it with tamers exploiting the teleport abilities of the new dragons. They command it to all kill, target a player in a private house then quickly run behind the house forcing the dragon to teleport inside the house. Why is this allowed to happen? WHY isn't a "private house" actually PRIVATE??

Sorry, but thats not how it works. A magical pet will teleport inside ONLY if its being attacked from someone on the inside. You don't want something inside, stop fighting from your house.

you realize you just created a mass dragon murder spree world wide by letting the people who didnt know about this know about this?...i think if this is true, its about to get a hell of alot more common

I believe it's the unofficial fix for house hiding PvPers...

Any magical pet has a chance to cast teleport and enter a private house, whether they are being attacked or not. But that is not the issue here. Flying creatures ignore the private house barrier and can go right inside. These have both been possible since Age of Shadows.

Both of these issues are easily dealt with using a proper house design and not relying on a silly magical barrier which shouldn't be there to begin with.

Mares were once able to Fly inside house and Fetch.

Yes, and they were fixed. Nothing should be able to enter a private home in the Felucca, or Trammel rulesets. Otherwise, what is the point of them being private? Hopefully, they will fix this too, before eons elapse.

BS. All it takes is an "All Kill" from a tamer outside your house. I was on my TAILOR, not fighting from the house, so until you know the circumstances, dont give an answer.

Ever hear of hiding? Ever hear that it never fails in a house you own? Try not house hiding when you pvp?

Just a few solutions I can think of right away...

Trust me I know more about the circumstance than you can ever imagine. I been killing house hiders with a tamer since AOS.

None of this has anything to do with my point.
The point is that a PRIVATE house should be just that. Private.

If it's of that much concern then buy a house somewhere quieter. Or borrow a disco tamer to lie hidden in your house with invis'd pets.

Have you tried banning the dragon before it gets near your house?

I always feel private houses are a bit of a strange thing in Fel though. You'd think with all the "risk v reward" we were told about, it'd extend to house hiding

I agree with Wenchy, try moving to tram, sounds like where you need to be, much safer there

Just my 2gp's ...

There are the rules as implemented

There are the rules as intended to be implemented

There are the rules we wish were implemented

If the intended rules forbid entry to a house and this is NOT how it is working then one should either change the intended rules construct to match the reality or one should change the implemented rule set to match the intended rule set.

No one benefits(long term) when there is a discrepancy between the intended rule set and the implemented rule set.

This has been the case for some time now. Possibly a confusion in the coding since monsters can get into private houses and pets were once monsters. Pets have been long known for using illegal third party programs - look how they can port onto boats.
