i figured this out last night. i would be sure to do this one naked. equip a skinning knife and attack whatever monster you want with it, as soon as you are hitting it use the steal skill and you have a chance of getting a costume of them. you should give it a try, i got an ancient wyrm costume last night!

the 'monster stealing' ability that everyone is talking about is on a knife that you can buy from uogamecodes. if you have it equiped and attack a monster, there is a chance you will get a monster stealable (gem of life, mana draught, stone skin, etc.) from them. i think you have to actually have the stealing skill though.
