New client: how to make pet heal macro?

Ok, what am I missing?

I'm using the enhanced client, trying to make a working pet heal macro.

I have the stack of bandages in the first slot, second slot is "Wait for Target", third slot is "Cursor Target Stored", and my pet is the stored target. If I use the macro with the pet targeted... it works. If I have a monster targeted, the macro is trying to target the monster (I get "you cannot perform beneficial acts...").

How the heck can I make a working petheal macro!?

You don't need the second and third slots.

Just have the bandages in the one and ONLY slot. Right click that and select target stored and click your pet.

You can the set a hotkey. You can do this with the macro maker or you can make it in the hot bar by dropping the stack of bandies directly on the hot bar slot and choosing stored target, etc..

Important thing is all you need is the bandages in your macro. No 'wait for target' No target last or whatever. Just the bandages.

Yeah, I tried that, and it doesn't seem to work quite right either. :/

That seems odd.

I don't know if it makes a difference but I never put the whole stack of bandies in the macro square.

I drag & drop just one bandage and the whole stack sorta appears automatically.

It probably makes no difference but one never knows until one tries.
