For instance if I choose the character template Saumurai, and go off to choose my clothing colors, I am not given these colored clothes, nor am I given the type of clothes shown. I am instead given some drab dull foreign looking clothes that aren't what I expected to see at all.
I also am not able to choose my footwear color, although it's plain I'll be given footwear. This applies across all character templates.
I can create a character and dye the samurai clothes to whatever colors I choose, so why can't the new character template colors be dyed into and displayed as the clothes I'll be wearing.
It is currently a pain to create colored clothes that you'd like to see only to finally login to the character created and be let down by this horrible bleak looking uniform you never even asked for, with no sign of the clothes you did choose colors for being provided anywhere. It's like being drafted into the Army.
I therefore request that the EA/Mythic Dev Team to consider at least giving us the colors and clothes we choose at character creation, or optionally giving us a choice of the colors and clothes to pick, instead of these drab dull template colors.
The same should be applied for any other template that creates colors/clothes according to profession.
If this is a problem for the non-english players expecting this kind of color scheme on their shards, then there should be a clearly labelled checkmark jewel for them to uncheck if they wish to create a character with colorful clothes. The default should be so that it will just create the usual themed colors/clothes. It should also be clearly explained that this is an option, and which is available to them should they ever wish to create a non-standard look for their character.
I shouldn't have to go to a tailor just to make sure my newly created character is wearing what I originally wanted him to!
Cheers ...
