New bug from pub 81?

This guy Zorcon at yew gate. He flags me, I start whirlwinding him. The only damage dealing is from hit spell from weapons. My whirlwind wep is 100% psn dmg. I figure maybe something weird with refinement and he has his poison boosted up. I switch to a bokuto, then to a 100% phys war fork.

Every hit, no damage. I hit him for a long time, so it can't be attunement.

The only damage being dealt is bleed ticks and hit spells.

He says "its a secret". I say bug, I paged, page received, nothing happened.

Even with cross healing and such if he is hitting and doing some dammage wouldnt you see some numbers floating?

It's not a crossheal in this case. Zarcon is in party with 2 different bards with 2 different bard songs if I'm not mistaken. He just has to be close enough to the bards in question.

Theres no bug. Theres no glitch. Bards songs ftw! Hes a guildy & I'm sure he'll get a laugh outta hearing someone actually made a post complaining abt this LOL.

Perhaps some investigation of the claim that this phenomenon was caused by bard masteries should be carried out?

I'm sure he was, he prob wasn't paying attention & just looking at the bar then came on the boards to complain because he didn't understand what was happening. Zarcon is a 100% stand-up guy I've known for years. He loves to PvP and uses nothing other then UOA.

That said, I'd be a liar if I claimed I never posted complaints abt something I didn't understand
And I'd bet hes feeling just abt as embarrassed as I have

Bard songs have an insane amount of HP regen etc.
