My fisher is only a little over 60 skill now, but I want to see this through. With the weight of the new fish, though, the old boats have insufficient storage. Should I just go ahead and buy one of the new ships? You don't have to fight pirates, right?

And how about sea serpents? Has anything changed there? (It's been a long time since I had a fisher.)

The sea serpents have not changed. If you think you might have trouble with them, use a snake slayer weapon or spellbook. You can also use the spell Protection so you cannot be interrupted while casting spells.

I like my tokuno style ship. It cost around 150-200k gp and has been well worth it for the storage space in the hold.

Not really worried about sea serpents (my fisher is also an archer). And I am now the proud owner of a Tokuno tall ship -- and a rowboat! Thank you Storm and Barry for giving me the thumbs up on this. It should be fun. :)
