New Art?

So has anyone other than me noticed some new art files in the EC? I just was doing a champ last night in Illsh and it was Simidar..... and she was totally different.... Like pink with purple wings and hair....

Now today I'm looking at a Bake Kitsune..... and going WTF?????

And the other day I got a War Axe and it was a completely new graphic... I know I'm not imagining that one cause I showed it to someone else also in the EC and it was totally new.

So is it just me or has anyone else noticed these things????

And should I hope to shout that I may in fact finally see a Hiryu as something other than a very ugly plucked turkey?

I know the War Axe occasionally uses the old KR artwork version which looks quite a bit different (and can REALLY act wonky because it swaps between the two different art types depending on which direction it's facing... it's something weird I've seen constantly doing BODs with junk magic items).

Not sure if I have the comparison pic or not, but I'll look. Was just trying to get the client to give me the KR version but it's being obstinate tonight and only showing the 2d version. I'll see if I can find a pic though and see if it's what you're seeing.

Here we go... the axe in the center tile is the War Axe using the KR artwork. This is from an OLD KR screenshot taken during the destruction of Magincia event. I happened to see one in my backpack as loot at the time, so I cropped the shot and upped it 150% sizewise for visibility:

Yes that's exactly the axe! I found it VERY odd.

But I'm fairly sure the Bake is different.

I noticed in every patch some little differences in monsters and animals. But I thought it was just me seen these changes.

I noticed that too and I'm in 2D. I even saw people riding what looked like housecats but some of them were colored like eensy teensy itty bitty tigers!!! Oh my what is this game coming to!!
