Hello everyone. (there is a question in here somewhere )
I first started playing MMOs in 2001 or so when a friend showed me Everquest. At the time I was blown away played EQ for many years. Have also played Everquest 2, WoW, EvE and Lord of the Rings online.
Recently I read somewhere that UO was still going. I'd heard about UO when I was playing EQ as it was what most people considered the original MMO and a lot of people came to everqust from UO. Anyway I was curious to see what the granddaddy of them all was like.
Been playing for a few days on the 14 day free trial and I'm really impressed. I can tell theres a whole load of depth to the game which I dont fully understand yet and I'm just skimming the surface with the Character I've created.
What I'd like to ask is this ... I'm curious as to what the game was like when it first came out, when the shards were really busy with loads of people running about. What was the atmosphere like? Also any good stories would be greatly appreciated
Cheers
