In the TradersHall forum here on Stratics I clicked on the thread titled "Slayer Scrapper Set For Sale" and Norton blocked it and said it was a malicious attack. It could just be a glitch as I didn't know you could get a virus by clicking on a thread but all should be warned.

At least u didn't get redirected to a porn site which happened to me twice yesterday clicking on threads here. Never had that happen before......at least not here.

lots of bad ads lately, especially on the main uo2.stratics.com site. Tried lookign at a few guides yesterday, malware warnings up the wazoo

This is popping up on almost every uo2.stratics.com page I try to go to, with ABP enabled, so I know its not the ads. Really sucks when trying to read up on something. Uoguide just normally doesn't cut it on the guides and I'll be damned if I continue past the warnings.

It is because of the ads. Google knows stratics is going to load f1.thegamenet.com so it blocks you before adblock has a chance to kick in.

After careful thought I think I've worked out the problem, and I believe I have solved it. The 6 header icons and the bullet used in the navigation menu at the top were hosted on f1.thegamenet.com. I wasn't the one who made that navbar.
I have just now copied those icons to uo2.stratics.com itself and edited all the links.
While heartily wishing that there was a 'find and replace' option for editing the file! There's a lot of yellow bullets on that menu

Well I don't think its a virus at all. This was on my cell phone it happened and when I said it hasn't happened here before it has only ever happened to me years ago on an old computer so this hasn't happened in forever. I have anti virus and all on my phone amd I surf the net a lot news etc. Never once has this happened anywhere else. Just here yesterday and it really could be from an adv link or the nav bar petra was talking about since when I tried pressin the nav bar buttons I sometimes by mistake press an ad. Did virus scan again and nothing.....
