Hopes the QA/devs fix it fast now that the GMs have received orders to leave it to the QA team.
A gm can fix ya. You just have to specify you have no active spell buffs on and no other enchants in the page. It's sad you have to think around every possibly excuse a GM can use to send you to the knowledge base every time you page one.
Actually, we have similar issues when users don't report problems properly too, so I understand why people need to be as concise as possible when reporting faults. I do agree that the canned messages need to go. It really makes them look incompetent or indifferent.
Eg Actual incident with one of our users:
"There's a network problem, I can't login."
*scrambles to check network status reports and alerts* "There's no network outage that we know of, what do you see on your screen?"
"It's blank."
"As in it just shows a black screen or do you mean it's showing the corporate logo?"
"No, it says 404, page cannot be loaded."
*ahh, user is referring to a website login. checks proxy, gateway* "There's no outage on the internet or intranet access either, may I know which site you are accessing? Are you able to access other sites?"
"Yes"
"Do you mean that you are able to access other sites and only this site is not working?"
"Yes"
"May I know which site you are accessing"
*gives url of some golf site* "But the site is working, I was able to login yesterday. It's got to be the network"
"....."
