Negative Karma Pets Question

I have one of the new rams I've been working on. I can't get his necro or ss to gain. Not even a little. I was talking to someone and they said that the ram could not train it bc it's not a negative karma creature. I was looking on the UO website at the tameable list. It is not listed in the necro pet section but.... it wasn't listed in any category. Did they forget about the ram?

Even tho its listed in Lore and Knowledge, when first tamed, 20SS/20Necro. Its not really there until you chose Necromancy, its zero points. Chose it in the first round. If you want to upgrade to Necromage. that cost 1501. One full slot, pick that in the 2nd round.
Then you have one full round to finish. IE Base damage, Power scrolls, Etc... If you pick another magical ability, you will loose necromancy. unless you pick Necromage. You can only have 1 magical ability.
